For who are seeking a holiday of relax and peace in the open air, in front of the Hotel you will find spacious and sunny sandy beaches with the possibility of bathing, extensive green areas and a recently renewed lakeside, ideal for long walks or pleasant stops on scenic benches from which to enjoy a magnificent landscape, sunbathing or quietly reading a good book...
It's also possible to rent a motor or sailing boat to spend a fun and cool day on the water, or make suggestive cruises on Lake Como by tourist boat, even by night, to visit the sumptuos villas of Lake Center or world famous resorts such as Bellagio or Como.
If one wishes to have a shopping spree to famous Italian cities like Milan, Como and Lecco, or Lugano and Saint Moritz in the nearby Switzerland, all are in near proximity by car or public transport.
For sport lovers, offered opportunities for entertainment are many. Thanks to the "breva", a heat and constant wind blowing from the lake, our area is rather windy and cool in summer and therefore much appreciated by practicians of all water sports, from windsurfing to kitesurfing, from boat sailing to quiet outgoings by canoa along river Mera or on the lake. Only a walk away from the Hotel, it's possible to directly rent canoes and a motor boat without having nautical licence.
In addition, 200 meters from us, there is aprofessional school of nautical discipline, which offers the opportunity to attend various courses, even for the kids, and to rent various kinds of equipment. So you can spend an holiday by us with you family and at the same time learn a new sport or improve yourself through lessons and training.
Not only lake however...if one loves mountain bike, there are many flat cycle track along the rivers Mera and Adda through the Pian di Spagna Natural Oasis and longest towards Valtellina and Valchiavenna, plus the most challenging mountain roads and dirt mule tracks to explore. All in complete peace and security, far from cars and always immersed in the variegated colors of nature.
The Pian di Spagna Natural Oasis, offers the possibility of horse riding, doing picnic in the many areas of stop and observation and for photography fans, devote himself to birdwatching.
Many are also opportunities for trekking fans, thanks to the presence of trails and ways of different altitudes and difficulties between Lepontine, Retiche and Orobie Alps that surround us. Peaks that also recall many fans of hang-gliding and paragliding, that here find the ideal conditions and frame to practice these sports.
In front of the hotel there is a grass football field, a tennis court (we directly rent equipment), a roller skating rink, a beach volley field and at 300 meters a municipal outdoor swimming pool of new construction.
And not to forget the rich and fascinating artistic wealth, made up of the famous villas on Lake Como of Bellagio, Varenna, Menaggio, Tremezzo, Cernobbio...of the Romanesque churches and the military fortifications that our zone can boast many testimonies.
